I left journalism forever on 11th august 2006. Why there is the question of leaving? Was Odia Media depedent upon me to survive? Was my absence ever felt in any media circle for a fraction of second? To be honest enough NO. Hence, the word leaving(as if i was an icon and my absence created a void that is yet to be filled) is completely absurd. As an IIMCian I came here with some exaggerated dreams(none but me nurtured it), worked 13 months in two reputed media houses and left when those exaggerated dreams shattered.
I was working as a staff reporter in the newspaper of the person who is considered as the center of power in Odisha for last 11 years. And, the package was 13K which was atleast 5 times higher than a journalist with same experience of that time (2005-2006). Still........ I left/quitted/forced to quit/could not cope up.
I realized the fact completely that i can not make an inch of change to the dimension of the system even if I was a part of the system at that time. Here, two things take their own course. One is law(of Naveen pattnaik) and another is the PR and Ad collection(?)strategy of the News paper MANAGEMENT.
Still i did a favor(unknowningly) to Odia media industry for which the historians while documenting the history Odia media industry might face a problem. The problem is why the number of Accredited Touts is N-1?
The name of the blog is Shades of Moringa. Yes, I am that Moringa tree who was unable to give shelter to others but had the guts to collapse before being counted as a fake Teak. In the next two posts, I will answer the title of the blog in an ellaborated manner. It might hurt many...... but who cares the Shades of Moringa

One thing my Guru told me in IIMC. I can't break the system but explode it from inside.
